The Duchess of Lorraine, on the occasion of the 250th anniversary of Place Stanislas in Nancy, the French Brewery Museum of Saint Nicolas de Port and the craft brewery "Les Brasseurs de Lorraine" in Pont-à-Mousson, have joined forces to produce a beer based on an 18th-century recipe.

The Duchesse de Lorraine, with its evocative name, is a red beer, brewed with 4 different varieties of malt (including red malt and smoked malt), to which is added a spice typical of 18th century beers, "Sassafras", fermented at high temperature, unpasteurized.

Description: Traditional red beer based on an 18th century recipe. Top fermentation, 5.5% alcohol by volume

Taste: Sweet bitterness with woody, caramel and smoky notes

Storage: Between 13°C and 15°C, away from light and upright

Tasting: at 8-12°C in its special glass
