🍗 Air Fryer Chicken Nuggets: The ultimate crispiness without oil!
Tired of soggy, store-bought chicken nuggets? Here's the recipe that will make your kids (and you!) fall in love with breaded chicken again. Using an air fryer, you get an ultra-crispy crust thanks to the panko breadcrumbs, while keeping the chicken breast incredibly juicy. Ready in under 15 minutes!

💡 Why is this recipe better than fast food?

The magic happens thanks to two elements: Panko (Japanese) breadcrumbs , whose large flakes trap air for maximum crispiness, and cooking at 200°C which sears the meat without drying it out.

🛒 Ingredients

For 4 people
🍗 500g Chicken Breasts
🍞 100g Panko Breadcrumbs
🥚 2 beaten eggs
🌾 50g Flour

🧂 + Salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder for flavour!

⚡ The steps to perfect nuggets

1. Cutting: Cut the chicken into even 3cm cubes. Season them directly with salt and spices.
2. Breading in 3 trays: Coat each piece in flour, then egg, and finally press them well in Panko.
3. Cooking: Preheat to 200°C. Spray the nuggets with a little oil. Cook for 8 to 10 minutes , turning halfway through.
👨‍🍳 Crispy tip: For a golden color worthy of a deep fryer, mix a teaspoon of turmeric or paprika into your breadcrumbs before coating!

  • Homemade sweet potato fries (15 min at 200°C).
  • A quick honey-mustard sauce (mix 1 part honey to 2 parts mustard).
  • Crunchy carrot sticks for a touch of freshness.
Caution: Do not overload the basket! Air must circulate freely between each nugget to ensure they are crispy all over. Do two batches if necessary.
