🌽 Air Fryer Corn on the Cob (15 min): the perfect alternative to BBQ!
Do you dream of grilled corn, crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside? The Air Fryer is the ultimate tool for perfectly roasted corn on the cob without smoke and in record time. A pat of butter, a sprinkle of paprika, and it's summer on your plate.

💡 Why cook corn in an air fryer?

The Air Fryer's convection technology allows for rapid caramelization of the corn kernels while preserving their juices. Unlike boiling (which can make the corn tasteless), the hot air concentrates the natural sugars. It's faster than an oven and much more even than a pan!

🛒 Your Ingredients

For 2 people
🌽 2
Corn cobs
🧈 20 g
Melted butter
🌶️ 1 tsp
Smoked paprika
🍋 1
Lime

🚦 Preparation steps

1. Cleaning: Remove the leaves and silky fibers from the ears of corn. If your basket is small, feel free to cut them in half.
2. Seasoning: Mix the melted butter, paprika, salt, and pepper. Generously brush each ear of corn with the mixture.
3. Cooking: Place the ears of corn in the basket without overlapping. Cook at 200°C for 12 to 15 minutes . Turn them over halfway through cooking.
4. Finishing Touch: As soon as it comes out of the oven, squeeze in a little lime juice. For those with a sweet tooth, sprinkle with a little Parmesan cheese or fresh coriander.
🪄 Neary's tip: For Mexican-style "Street Food" corn, spread a thin layer of spicy mayonnaise on the hot cob before sprinkling with crumbled cheese.

❓ FAQ – Your questions

Fresh or frozen corn?

Both work! For frozen food, simply add 2 to 3 minutes to the total cooking time. No need to defrost beforehand.

How can I prevent the corn from becoming too dry?

Do not exceed 15 minutes at 200°C. If you like your corn very tender, you can also brush the kernels with a little water before adding the butter.
