🥗 Why make your French toast in the Air Fryer?
The air fryer allows you to achieve a caramelized crust without the excess butter of pan-frying. The pulsed heat sears the sugar on the surface while keeping the center of the bread moist and soft.
🛒 Ingredients
For 4 slices
🍞 4 Slices of bread
🥚 2 Eggs
🥛 160 ml Milk
🍬 30 g Sugar
💡 + Vanilla, cinnamon and a spray of oil for browning!
🔥 Recipe steps
1 Mixture: Beat the eggs with the milk, sugar and vanilla in a shallow dish.
2. Soaking: Soak the slices for 30 seconds per side (longer if the bread is very hard).
3. Cooking: Preheat to 180°C. Place on baking paper, spray with oil and cook for 7 to 8 minutes , turning halfway through.
✨ Lou's tip: Sprinkle a little brown sugar on the slices just before putting them in the Air Fryer for an ultra-caramelized crust.

Caution: Do not overload the basket. If the slices overlap, the edges will not be crispy. Bake in two batches if necessary!
