🏰 Château Montaurone – Tradition & Excellence in Provence

Located in Saint-Cannat , 15 km from Aix-en-Provence , Château Montaurone is a 350-hectare family estate , combining history, viticulture and olive growing . A former Templar commandery, then a departmental model farm in the 19th century, the estate has belonged to the DECAMPS family for over 40 years .

🌱 A biological and reasoned commitment
Established on a limestone plateau at an altitude of 200 m , the vine draws its resources from deep within, benefiting from a contrasting climate between hot summers and harsh winters. Committed to sustainable agriculture, we have gradually converted our vines to organic farming , a certification obtained in 2016 .

🍷 An exceptional vineyard
✅ 91 hectares of vines – Classified as AOP Coteaux d'Aix-en-Provence and IGP Méditerranée
✅ 85% rosé , complemented by reds and whites
✅ Red & rosé grape varieties : Grenache, Syrah, Cinsault, Cabernet Sauvignon
✅ White grape varieties : Ugni Blanc, Clairette, Vermentino
✅ Traditional vinification in concrete and stainless steel vats – Excellence Cuvées aged in oak barrels

🫒 A PDO Provence olive oil
✅ 8 hectares – 1,800 olive trees (Aglendau, Salonenque)
✅ Oil produced exclusively from our olives
✅ Transformation at the mill – Packaging at the Château
